Our Mission
When my dad passed away, my disabled brother had to really look hard to find a way to be able to survive on his small social security disability check. A monthly telephone bill of $30 might not seem like a lot to many people but to my brother, it was a week’s worth of groceries.
In helping my brother set up a viable, sustainable budget, I saw how every little bit of help can make a huge difference in someone’s life. Being 800 miles away from my brother, a phone was a necessity in order to be able to stay connected and help my brother from a distance. My brother needed to be able to make doctor’s appointments and stay in touch with his social workers. He needed to stay in touch with his other local relatives. Not being able to drive, one really needs a support group and a telephone is necessary to be able to be able to contact that support group when needed.
I was so happy to have discovered the free cell phone program that could really help my brother out. I was so grateful that I decided to but together this website in order to help others get the help that they might need.
This website is the repository of my research into government free cell phones. I hope you find it useful and that it saves you a lot of time and money.
My mission is to keep the information current and to help others get the help they need.
